Melissani Cave

Melissani is located 2 km northwest of Sami, the natural entrance of the cave is vertical and was created by the fall of a part of the roof due to an earthquake. The lake is located 20m below ground level and the depth of the waters ranges from 10m to 30m. stalactites with strange shapes adorn most of the cave.

Karavomylos village

Karavomylos is located one kilometre away from Sami, with the traditional water mill at the edge of the beach, right behind an artificial lake surrounded by lush vegetation completing the unique landscape. It is characterized as a strange geological phenomenon with the researchers having identified how the waters from the Argostoli Sinkholes end up there, crossing the underground waters of Kefalonia and mixing with the fresh waters of the subsoil.

Myrtos Beach

Myrtos Beach is located in the western part of Kefalonia, awarded with a blue flag and one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. It is characterized by its blue-green waters, it is pebbly and with the particularity that at the entrance and in the middle of the sea it has fine white sand. Usually, the wind is strong and big waves are created, but the sight is magnificent.

Antisamos beach

Antisamos is located near the town of Sami. A picturesque place with indescribable turquoise waters and fine pebbles, combining sea and mountain with dense vegetation that will captivate you. Another blue flag awarded beach, well organized and with good accessibility.
